NVMS7000 V2 PC Requirements: Legacy Reference

Review the historical V2 recommendations before assessing an existing camera-viewing computer.

This is a historical reference for an existing V2 installation, not a specification for purchasing a new PC.

Original recommendations

  • Intel Core i5 at 3.5 GHz or better.
  • At least 8 GB RAM and 256 MB graphics memory.
  • Gigabit networking.
  • For video-wall use, at least 16 GB RAM and 1 GB graphics memory.

The old document listed Windows 7, 8.1, 10 and older Server releases. Its 64-bit wording concerned running the 32-bit client on compatible systems.

Assess your installation

Those figures do not establish support for a current Windows release. Ask CJSC to check your client version, simultaneous camera count, resolution and graphics hardware. Large camera layouts can require substantially more resources.

Do not downgrade Windows to match this legacy document. Confirm a supported recorder, client and operating-system combination.

Source and version

Reconstructed in CJSC’s own wording from the archived LTS instructions. This guide documents the legacy interface shown there.
