Bullet Cameras

These cameras get their name from their long cylindrical shape. Bullet cameras are typically more noticeable and some feel it acts as more of a deterrent, while dome cameras are more subtle.

Bullet cameras are generally used on the exterior of buildings, although they can be used inside in certain applications such as warehouse and larger rooms or work areas You can mount them on the ceiling or on a wall. They are available in High definition (2/3 megapixel) and I.P. (up to 8 megapixel) although the 4.1 megapixel are the largest seller in the I.P. family because of the quality and price meeting at very economical point where you are not compromising quality for cost.

The difference between bullet and dome cameras are mostly aesthetics or the way it looks. Most cameras are made to have the option bearing both styles while keeping for the most part identical core parts and functionality. Although we would recommend for farther distances at night going with the bullet camera solely because of available its double Exir Infrareds built into some models  thus causing the night vision to be extended an additional 40 to 50 feet.focus from 3mm to 12mm. The 5-50mm model can adjust its lens focus from 5mm to 50mm.

High Definition Varifocal  Lens Bullet Camera

2 or 3 megapixel 1080P
Effective night range 175 feet
Wide dynamic range
Exir or Matrix I.R.
Unlike the other cameras listed above this camera has the ability to set a desired focus range between 2.8mm and 12mm at the time of the install and afterwards as well. We can adjust the camera to a 2.8mm shot which would be a wider shot (around 110 degrees) which would make objects seem further while grabbing a wider area. Further adjustments to a higher mm number would result in bringing objects closer while narrowing the field of vision (a more closer narrow shot)
Can be mounted on walls or ceilings
Completely waterproof

License Plate Recognition camera or “LPR”

IP Camera 2.1 Megapixel with a motorized 8-20 mm lens. Also has a slot for a backup SD Card
Effective night range 100 feet
This 2.1MP IP bullet camera provides Full HD 1080p capture. It is specially designed to ensure that license plates are always clearly legible. The varifocal Motorized lens conveniently allows you to remotely adjust between 8-20mm. It can be used indoor and outdoor thanks to the IP66 “dust tight / weatherproof” rating. The IR LEDs provides 100ft of Night vision. True WDR and 3D DNR technologies further enhance the quality of video for all lighting conditions digitally.

In surveillance, WDR is intended to provide clear images even under backlighting, where the intensity of illumination varies a lot—namely when there are very bright and very dark areas simultaneously in the camera’s field of view. WDR allows an imaging system to correct for the intense back light surrounding a subject and thus enhances the ability to distinguish features and shapes on the subject. WDR cameras are usually recommended for situations where light enters a premise from various angles such as a multi-window room. A camera placed on the inside of the room will be able to see through the intense sunlight or artificial light coming in. If an indoor security camera is pointed towards a window or an entrance door, you will see the background washed out during daytime. This is a common occurrence in restaurants and stores with large glass windows.
